Southern New Hampshire University
Instructional Graphic Designer
From the fall of 2023 to the summer of 2024, I was an Instructional Graphic Designer for the Information Security Management Office at Southern New Hampshire University, where I managed the ISMO training portfolio and created mandatory cyber security awareness courses for students, faculty, and staff.
I managed completion metrics and training review deadlines to ensure the community was aligned in their enrollment schedules, and I developed new microlearnings and trainings using the Instructional Design tools in the Articulate 360 suite, including Storyline and Rise.
My ID-focused duties included the development and maintenance of annual training programs for repeat digital data security offenders, and addressing employee concerns regarding phishing issues during monthly simulations. These training goals were achieved via multiple delivery methods, such as vertical web scrolling, slide-based, infographic, video-based, and accessibility-friendly written transcripts in accordance with ADA and WCAG standards.
Additionally, I spearheaded the planning and promotion of SNHU’s National Cyber Security Awareness Month by booking speakers, delivering webinar descriptions, and leading event marketing, to ensure the growth potential for ISMO ambassadors rose month-over-month.
When not designing for coursework, I directed the Graphic Design and Copywriting efforts for ISMO promotional materials, on-site events, tech fairs, speaker presentations, new applications, and web training modules. This was supplemented by regular updating, maintaining, and promoting of the SharePoint websites for the Employee / Student Awareness & Training, Phishing Security, and Secure Data Handling Policy Standards.
