All students enrolled in the JWU Design major are expected to complete two semesters of “Design Team”, a capstone class focused on simulating a quasi-agency experience. Each semester tasks a group of 3 to complete 4 holistic branding collateral projects for clients in the university’s ecosystem.
In Design Team 1, my chosen-by-professor group was made up of myself (a print design-focused student) and 2 web-design focused peers, to form Team N.A.S (Noah, Aaron, and Sophie).
We were assigned 3 culinary classes to assist with designs for their own projects, and 1 external startup business seeking to get their brand off the ground.
In each of sections below, you will see collateral from Casual Cuisine client Holy Cow and Therapeutic Cuisine client Manoa Valley Hospital. You’ll also see Cooking From the Farm Stand client Amaranth, and startup brand Herca Athletics, alongside a project brief and short recap of the deliverables provided for each.

A Farm-to-Table inspired Chef’s Dinner, sourced locally with ingredients all able to be found in your average backyard garden.

A Honolulu, HI-based Hospital kitchen catering specifically to patients on the Renal Diet, in a farm-to-table service model with quick turnarounds, zero waste, and no lack of quality.
